Smith International, Inc. is a leading petroleum service company in the world and is a Fortune 500 company in the United States. Smith International, Inc. has a history of more than 100 years and it’s headquarter is in Houston, Texas, United States. Smith International, Inc. manufactures both roller cone and PDC petroleum bits and holds the most world records in petroleum drilling for last five years.

Now, the R&D group of Smith International, Inc. is looking for R&D engineers for solid mechanics/FEA based drilling simulation program development for its Beijing office. The basic qualifications are the following:

1) MS or above degree computational solid mechanics;
2) Good and hands-on skill in C++ and FEM programming;
3) Good knowledge of solid mechanics principles and FEA theory;
4) Fair English skills in reading and writing;
5) Team player, hard working and willing to learn new things;
6) Working experience not necessary;
