Bechtel has been active in mainland China since 1979, completing more than 100
projects of all sizes, ranging from multi-billion-dollar power plants to smal
l industrial facilities – on schedule, within budget, and up to our clients’
and Bechtel high quality standards.

Bechtel (China) Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd (BCEC), in Shanghai is Bec
htel whole owned foreign enterprise. BCEC is focus on execution of large indus
trial projects undertaken by Bechtel globally, especially in oil, gas and chem

To meet requirement for fast developing business activities and undertake the
domestic projects in China and support Bechtel various projects worldwide, Bec
htel has set up its Engineering Center in Shanghai in 2005. Till now the engin
eers manpower is increased to 150 and expected to reach to 500 by end of 2008.
To enhance the requested skills for the engineers, we have sent out about 60
personnel to US and other countries for on-job training, and we are planning t
o send more high potential engineers for offshore assignment in the coming yea
rs.

为适应柏克德的业务在国内快速发展的需要和支援柏克德全球大型项目的承接，柏克德20
05年在上海成立了设计中心。到目前为止员工人数已达150人并预计在2008年底达到500人
。为提升员工的技术能力，我们已经向美国及世界其他地区派遣了将近60人次的在岗培训
，我们计划在今后几年中将继续向国外派遣有潜力的员工进行在岗培训及工作。

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS   职位要求

-      Bachelor degree and above in engineering;
-      Good command in English language, both spoken and written (level 4 and
above ). Must be able to   communicate effectively with potential / current cu
stomers, project managers, and project team members       located throughout t
he world;
-      Familiar with design software, like AutoCAD or Micro-station;
-      A good team player with strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to co
mmunicate effectively with people;

       -     Able to work under pressure；
       -   Knowledge of engineering activity, design practices, codes & standa
rds will be a plus.

                  本科及以上学历；

              良好的英语书写及口语表达能力（4级以上），能有效与全球各地客户，
项目经理，项目组成员进行沟                 通；

              熟悉设计软件，如AutoCAD, Micro-station;

              良好的沟通表达，协作能力；

              能承受工作压力；

              具有一些工程项目知识，设计实践，了解设计规范及标准将优先考虑。
