Digital ASIC Design Engineer 

Job Description:

Design and implement digital modules/IPs in Verilog; Participate ARM-based 
SoC system-level design and verification; Write testbench at unit and SoC 
level to ensure functionality and performance verification.

Job Requirements:

• MSEE degree,
• Major: IC related, communication, electronics engineering, digital 
TV, 
digital image processing, automation control, DSP, etc.
• Skills: HDL, FPGA, CPLD, IC,
• Project experience: experience on Verilog design and verification at 
unit-
level or SoC system level. Ever joined into 1 project with FPGA, CPLD, or IC

Digital IC Verification Engineer 

Job Description:

Develop and maintain testbench at unit and/or SoC level to verify various 
external interfaces; Help develop and execute various stress tests in the 
chip; Create verification plans and scripts to ensure feature coverage and 
code coverage by using Verilog and SystemVerilog Assertion; 

Job Requirements:

Windows device driver Engineer

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities: 

• Develop Microsoft Windows device drivers for PC based personal video 
recorder systems 
• Responsible for the systems software design, development, debug and 
testing of various video platforms 
• Support components include broadcast and digital television audio 
and 
video decoder systems and MPEG encoders working on Windows XP/MCE/Vista and 
Windows Media Center 
• Participate in design and code reviews 
• Work closely with other departments to define new features and 
continue to 
improve existing software 

Job Requirements: 

• BSCS/BSEE/BSCE (or above) 
• Must have solid experience in C programming and debugging skills 
• Must be at least conversant with C++ 
• Basic knowledge on WDM(Windows Driver Model)
• Basic knowledge on PCI& USB bus and DMA,Interrupt. 

Desired Skills: 
 
• Experience in writing Windows device drivers using Microsoft DDK is 
plus
• Experience with driver frameworks products is preferred 
• A working knowledge of video and audio standards would be helpful 
• Experience with MPEG technologies is plus 
• Experience with AVStream architecture and DirectShow interfaces is 
plus
• The ability to learn new areas quickly and communication skills in 
English 
and Chinese are very important as well.

Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Design DTV DriversApplication SoftwareProtocol StackAPI 
• Resolve the software issues and working with Hardware, Test and 
Firmware 
engineers to develop featurescode based on customers’ requirements.  
• Handle software design and coding, documentation, and testing of 
software 
in DTV reference design board. E.g. Initialization, bootstrapping using non-
volatile memory, application code downloading and diagnostic tests. 
Providing Kernel services like task scheduling, timer services, 
memory /buffer management, configuration management, etc.  

Job Requirements:  

• MS degree or higher in ElectronicsElectrical, Computer Science or 
equivalent.
• Must have strong proficiency in ‘C’and ARM Assembly languages 
programming.
• Must have application software or device software driver development 
experiences on RTOS
• Must have good understanding of operating system concepts, embedded 
systems, real time systems etc.
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts
• Having a good knowledge of DVB Service Information and MPEG-2 
standard is 
a plus. 
• Knowledge and experience on embedded Linux development and J2ME/CDC 
development is a plus. 
• Hands on software development experience of the above topics will be 
a big 
advantage. 
• Knowledge and experience in one of the areas is helpful: device 
driver, 
human-machine interface, or computer graphics
• Understanding of China or oversea DTV market is a plus. 
• Good problem analyzing and solving skill and willing to take 
ownership of 
resolving the problem, quick-to-learn, good communication skill, self-
motivated, hard working and good team player.
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills in Chinese and English

Digital Video System R&D Engineers

Job Responsibilities:

• Researching and developing silicon IP cores for digital video 
systems, 
such as video compression/decompression and pre/post-processing cores.
• Cooperating with IC engineers to integrate silicon IP cores into SoC 
products.
• Working with hardware, software and test engineers to improve the 
performance of the final product.

Job Requirements:

• Master or PhD degree in Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent 
with 
good records in information technology, digital signal processing or 
relevant subjects.
• At least one year project working experience in digital video system 
development.
• Good theoretical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: 
video 
pre-processing & post-processing, H.264/VC-1/AVS/MPEG2 encoding/decoding.
• Good understanding of digital circuit design, VLSI architecture and 
design 
re-use methodology.
• Skillful in RTL (Verilog or VHDL) coding and C/C++ programming.
• Familiar with FPGA and ASIC design and related tools such as 
Modelsim, 
Synplify, Verilog simulator, Design Compiler, static timing analyzer, etc.
• Knowledge of embedded system, RTOS and/or device driver is a plus.
• Understanding of China or oversea Digital TV/STB market is a plus.
• Excellent written/verbal communications skills in Chinese and English
• Willing to take ownership of resolving problems, being self-
motivated, 
hard-working and good team player.
