Interested individuals should have extraordinary intellectual capability, maturity and judgment, as demonstrated by their academic achievements, professional experience and extracurricular responsibilities. Strong candidates also should exhibit intellectual curiosity and have the ability to learn quantitative techniques. Language fluency in English is required and fluency in Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French, German, Italian, or Spanish is highly desirable. The consultants, who will vary in level of experience, work on one project at a time. A consultant''s first year will typically include work on three or four projects in different practice areas interspersed with specialized training. Your role will develop in accordance with your experience, maturity, and ambition. A consultant’s role and responsibility will not be limited by artificial titles or barriers. It is a true meritocracy in which each consultant is given as much responsibility as they can handle. Initially, you will focus on analysis, such as evaluating internal client data, performing financial analysis and projections, and interviewing participants in the client''s marketplace. As you become more experienced, you will assume broader responsibilities, including management of client relationships, determining the appropriate analyses required to address a client concern, and providing "thought leadership" and creativity.
