REQUIREMENTS: • Strong knowledge and background in telecom and data networking, especially protocols like TCP/IP, SIP, and so on. • Familiar with Mobile application protocols, such as SMS, MMS, WAP, MLP, etc. • Development experience on any Web server systems (Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic) is most wanted • Hands-on skills on HTTP/Soap technology and Web Services development will be a plus • Very good and experienced at C/C++ or Java programming • Highly self-motivated and team work spirit, good problem-solving skill, able to work effectively under pressure • Master degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field. • Strong communication skills in English. 2.UMTS OAM Software Developers Location: Beijing Responsibilities: In the challenging context of UMTS wireless projects, R&D department is looking for software engineers to develop UMTS Access OAM system. This product is developed using JAVA/C++/TCL/Shell scripts. The candidate will join a dynamic team and will work into an international context. The candidate will be responsible for UMTS Access OAM modules like Fault Management, GUI, Network Element Configuration, etc. Knowledge into telecommunication network will be appreciated, especially in the domain of UMTS access network. This technical position requires programming skills, involvement in all stages of the development process (specifications, development, target testing, documentation, support), and communication skills to interface with project stakeholders (architects, project managers, integration & design teams). Skill Required: Mandatory 1. Strong C++/Java or TCL/Shell script programming skills & experience 2. Profound OOAD knowledge, familiar with s/w development processes 3. Working experience in international telecom/software companies is a plus. 3.OAM UTRAN Verification Engineer Location：Beijing In the challenging context of UMTS wireless projects, R&D OAM department is hiring an integration engineer who will be in charge of building and testing the whole OAM solution, hardware platforms and software, and delivering it with a high standard of quality (TL9000 level) to Nortel operations teams and customers. The OAM product is the supervision component of the overall UMTS network and is based on distributed s/w architecture with several machines. The candidate will join a dynamic team, will work into an international context and will strongly interact with several R&D labs world wide. R&D OAM department brings a challenging environment with opportunities to work on complex technologies, to develop skills on UMTS networks.
