Radio Network R&D Center (XR) An Ericsson design organization focused on developing of equipment within the radio network area of wireless systems. The main activity is Radio Base Station development. The organization handles today projects within the standards of WCDMA and GSM. The technology in the R&D Center covers both software and hardware. The software is mainly developed in C++ and Java, but also other IP related software technologies are within the scope. The latest DSP technology combined with other microprocessor systems are the target platforms for the software. The hardware development is performed within analogue electronics up to 2.5 GHz and high-speed digital electronics as well as power supply and mechanics. Design of circuit solutions, PCBs, FPGA and ASIC are within the scope. Configuration Management, R&D Sourcing and Component Engineering are other areas covered by the organization. Integration & Verification Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · To define verification environment and methodologies to be implemented within the R&D Center · To implement the defined environment and methodologies · To develop test cases for the specific products and projects · To do the work of Integration and verification of products developed within the R&D Center Qualifications: · Master degree or above in Electronics Engineering or Microwave · Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems, and UNIX operating system · Experience in the field of RF performance measurement and the testing of TA and NAL or related · Good communication skills and social abilities; · Fluent in oral & written English. Radio Design Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Radio design within the R&D Center projects. This could include work within analogue design, RF- design, PA-design and frequency generation design. · Establishment and development of radio design environment within the R&D Center. Qualifications: · Master degree or above in Electronics Engineering or equivalent; · Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems; · Excellent knowledge of different radio design areas mastering at least one of the areas analogue design, RF- design, PA-design and frequency generation design; · Experience of technical work within wireless communication systems and radio design; · Good communication skills and social abilities; · Fluent in oral & written English. Digital Design Engineers Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Digital design within the R&D Center projects. This could include circuit design, PCB design, FPGA design and ASIC design · Establishment and development of digital design environment within the R&D Center. Qualifications: · Master Degree or above in Electronics Engineering or equivalent; · Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems; · Excellent knowledge of different digital design areas mastering at least one of the areas circuit design, PCB design, FPGA design and ASIC design; · Project experience on wireless communication systems and digital design preferable; · Good communication skills and social abilities; · Fluent in oral & written English. Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · To suggest mechanical solutions for assigned projects · To provide technical specification for outsourcing vendors. · To cooperate with the R&D Center sourcing staff dealing external vendors in technical respects · To work with external vendors to complete mechanical assignments · Establishment and development of design environment for mechanics within the R&D Center. Qualifications · Master degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; · Very good knowledge of Wireless Communication systems; · Research experience related to mechanical design; · Good communication skills and social abilities; · Fluent in oral & written English. Power Design Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · To do the design of power supply within the R&D Center projects · To establish and develop design environment for power supply within the R&D Center. · To do specification work of power supply to be used by external vendors. · To maintain close cooperation with the R&D Center sourcing staff when external vendors are used for the power supply. · To work with external vendors within the power supply area Qualifications: · Master degree or above in Electronics or Power Engineering or equivalent; · Knowledge of Wireless Communication systems; · Experience of designing power supplies for electronic circuit boards; · Good communication skills and social abilities; · Fluent in oral & written English. Sourcing Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Evaluate, select and develop suppliers · Ensure cost efficiency for sourcing part · Ensure lead-time for sourcing part · Commercial agreement negotiation and relations maintenance Qualifications: · Bachelor or Master degree of top universities · Comprehensive knowledge of technologies · Strong leadership and communication skill · Business and management awareness · Initiative and positive personal personality · Experience from project and/or line management is preferred · Fluent in English speaking and excellent in English writing · Development potential New Product Introduction Project Manager Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Maintaining/Updating the dedicated databases (including documentation, resources, training etc…) interfaces/cooperates with BU GS, BU SY, BU AC, CBC (Academy, Product & Systems department, PA, PD, FA, PM) and provides/supports Service Delivery Account Teams and Regions Service Delivery organization(s) with solutions in regards to their needs. · Responsible for the management of NPI specific technical solutions and issues, develops and setup the documents criteria (known as NPI document) and cases being directives to the delivery organization (NRO, CS, N&TC) minimizing NPI Delivery risks and impacts for MU-China. 3),,Advises / develops / supports / controls special projects and particularly NPI Support Programs · Develops, Updates, Customizes, Maintains the dedicated databases. · Works in close cooperation with BU GS, BU SY, BU AC, CBC (Academy, Product & Systems department, PA, PD, FA, PM) supporting the Service Delivery Organization with NPI directives/hand-on technical documents describing criteria and cases, identifying and quantifying needed training and resources with an up-to-data time-planning of required training and resources added to a competence mapping & development. · Provides / Supports Service Delivery Account Teams and Regional Service Delivery Organization with NPI solutions with regards to their needs related to the contractual obligations using the available products and solutions, controlling all activities related to development of solutions and implementation. · Advises / Develops / Supports / Controls NPI overall technical updates and changes including activities, sequences, estimated durations and schedules related to the matters. · Initiates / drives specific initiatives related to lower costs business operations. Qualifications: · University degree or equivalent and Fluent in English, both writing and speaking · Minimum 5 years experience in the area of service delivery · Strong business mind and business oriented · High Leadership and management skills · Analytical skills, structured and logical thinking · High team working skills · Excellent interpersonal communication and networking skills RBS System Design Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Define requirements and functionality on Radio Base Station products in the development projects · Work as technical coordinator and technical leader within the development projects · Perform studies and investigations relating to the R&D activities Qualifications: · Master Degree or above in Electronic Engineering or equivalent · Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems · Knowledge of system design activities within wireless communication. · Relevant project experience of technical work within wireless communication systems. · Good communication skills and social ability · Fluent in English speaking and writing System Integration and Verification Center (XN) The System Integration & Verification center focus on: · Integration and verification of radio network components in all cellular technologies (CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM) · Supporting product development, technology trials and market introduction · RAN software development and debugging capability System Integration and Verification Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Integrate hardware and software of different nodes to implement mobile radio network and core network. · Design and perform integration tests, debug node and system issues, verify compliance of interfaces and features · Work in cross-functional team environment with Systems Engineering and System Development and participate in design, implementation and test reviews · Drive quick resolution of the problems by coordinating the tests with H/W, S/W engineers and system design Qualifications: · Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; · Solid knowledge in Communications, Signaling Processing and Information Theory. · Knowledge of mobile core and radio network architecture. · Knowledge of mobile system technology and protocols in one or more of the following areas is required: GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000, and TD-SCDMA. · Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: ATM, SS7, TCP/IP, speech coding, channel coding. · Experience with the following equipment is proffered: MGTS, Nethawk, TEMS, K1205, K1297, ADTECH, TD-SCDMA handsets · Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills · Knowledge of Perl/TCL and scripting skills is preferred · Knowledge of basic UNIX operation is required · Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required · Strong teamwork skills Systems and Technology Center (XT) · Continue to drive the trial activities in new technology areas (LA, IMS, HSDPA, etc.) · Strengthen our competence with high-level system expertise · Stronger presence in the China technology community, such as standardization forums, customers and Universities · Research in 3G, 3G evolution, and 4G · Patent licensing activities in China System Design Engineer Responsibilities & Main Tasks: · Ericsson TD-SCDMA RAN system management · Support Market Unit China with TD-SCDMA RAN expertise · Support TDSCDMA R&D center in the system management and system design Qualifications · Ph.
