Job Description:

Perform daily analytical testing for receiving samples  
This position will report to Analytical and Lab Operation Manager

Qualification:

Strong experience in chromatography techniques like GC, HPLC, or spectroscopy like FTIR, UV-VIS
Solid knowledge in general analytical chemistry
Experience with polymer characterization is plus
Experience with equipment like thermo analysis (DSC, TGA, TMA), GPC, SEM is plus
MS or PhD in analytical chemistry focusing on chromatography and spectroscopy analysis
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Leadership impact
Willing to learn and project driven

Knowledgeable in various polymerization processes like controlled and living radical polymerizations
Characterization of the copolymers for physical, chemical, mechanical, surface properties
Educational & Other Requirements

Job Title:  Senior Application Engineer, SM China, 00059009

Job Description:

Provide marketing information on the application trend of thermal interface materials (TIM) in electric industry.
Collect and segment key customer requirements and identify new applications of TIM.
In charge of setting up TIM lab and drive TIM modification and / or new application development project to meet customers' requirements
Maintain safe operation environment in TIM lab.
Work at both the materials component development and application development levels.
Provide application support for current TIM's customers.
Interact with external customer and internal TIM manufactures and serve as a focal point to resolve any technical issues raised by customer.
Maintain good documentation and keep IP well protected


Qualification:

Creative, innovative thinker that enjoys developing "solutions" for customers' problems
Driven, focused individual that will hold him/herself to the highest standards.
Technical competence-statistical, analytical and computer skills

Have at least two years track records in TIM development and evaluation.
3-5 years of industrial working experience after degree is preferred.
Excellent teamwork skills
Fluent in Chinese and familiar with Chinese culture and business
Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Advanced degree in polymer chemistry
