OBJECTIVE The objectives of the programme are:  To attract young, talented professionals to Jones Lang LaSalle  To build a talent/leadership pipeline for the organisation  To provide the opportunity for individuals to build long term careers within the firm THE APPROACH Management Trainees will be recruited from premier schools around the region. These will be individuals who have successfully completed a bachelor or maste rs programme and been awarded the formal academic qualification commensurate w ith that program of study. These will be individuals with prior work or inter nship experience, within or outside the real estate industry and hired for a management potential role within a specific department. SELECTION METHODOLOGY The selection process begins with the screening of applications received from candidates. A standardised set of screening criteria will be utilised to elim inate bias and ensure consistency. These include a) Good academic results based on home country examinations and standards. b) Verbal and numerical ability tests conducted on line. c) Leadership and teamwork as demonstrated by the extent of curricular activit ies, voluntary work, and committee work undertaken during secondary / high sch ool and university, as well as work experience during vacations. Selection will involve a combination of paper/online test and at least 2 round s of interviews (with HR and senior leadership of the Firm). The performance of the candidate at each stage of the process will contribute to his/her selection into the programme.
