Title:
Mobile Software Engineer - Symbian (Intern)

Location:
Shanghai

Job description:
1.Work with leading edge technology of communication, design and implement sof
tware, write test specification, test software and function test for client wi
th IMS Core system.

2.Perform system design: analysis customer requirements and propose system imp
lementation solutions; track requirements all the way till requirements are be
en fulfilled (when enough experience is gained).

3.Handle Customer Adaptation or Product Maintenance work and perform trouble-s
hooting for whole product upon customer request.

4.Design documentation like component description and use case modeling during
system design and implementation.

Competence:
1.University Bachelor or Master Degree of any of the following: Computer Scien
ce, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering with mor
e than one year experience in related field is required.

2.Highly developed knowledge in C++, Java, solid Symbian C++ knowledge is a mu
st

3.Highly developed knowledge in Symbian, solid knowledge of S60 platform UI de
sign is a strong plus, knowledge of UIQ or Windows Mobile is a plus

4.Highly developed knowledge in software development methods and tools (Object
Oriented design, UML, Rose)

5.Good knowledge in software configuration management and ClearCase

6.Knowledge in IMS system is a stong plus

7.Former Symbian experience in other company/lab is a plus

8.Good English communication skills (both in written and verbal), able to expr
ess own thinking clearly

9.Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to work tasks

10.Innovative and solution thinking abilities

11.Open minded and willing to accept challenges
