岗位职责
SUMMARY
Take the major responsibility for electronics design for Server, Storage, and POS projects. Provide necessary inputs to validation engineers for design quality assurance. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil Circuit by harnessing new design technologies and methodologies. Provide exceptional support to external and internal customers, team members, and other persons through technical project coordination.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Schematics capture for Computing PC, Server , and Storage system design
Generate PCB routing guideline, work with PCB engineer for Critical parts placement & routing
Create BOM & AVL, assist SCM people to pick strategic vendors & parts to meet design goals
Prototype bring-up & assist EVT & DVT builds for design related issues
Help System validation for SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) measurements
System level debug and root cause analysis
岗位要求
Person Background:
Typically, the following essential qualifications and experiences would be requested:
a) Bachelor or Master in Electronics, computing, engineering or similar
b) Good English speaking and literacy
c) Working knowledge of Intel, AMD, Broadcom, PMc, Adaptec Server & Storage class chipsets
d) Working knowledge of windows & Linux configuration, installation procedure, network configuration, driver configuration etc
e) Working knowledge of ACPI, IPMI 1.5 & 2.0
f) Hands-on design knowledge of latest peripheral chipsets for Gigabit and 10G Ethernet, Ultra-SCSI 320, USB2.0, 1394, Fiber Channel, Infiniband, SAS/SATA-II & PCI-e cards etc
g) High performance RISC/x86 CPUs and architecture inc. Intel P4, Xeon, AMD Opteron & Athlon64, and SUN Ultra Sparc-III/IV
h) Strong electrical design and debug skills required > 100MHz, Familiar with PCI, PCI-e, DDR & CPU FSB signaling for Scope analysis, DDR & DDR-II timing and integrity analysis for clocks, strobes, S&H, Power
