Position Title: Router Test Engineer (Needed: 3)
Location: Shanghai
Department: Linksys, Cisco R&D Center
Duties/Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the development and support of
test for new and existing network WLAN, DSL, Cable products
* Test software and system integration and regression.
* Design testing systems in coordination with cross-functional development
team.
* Perform analysis, design, and development of test automation projects
* Create and execute automated test scripts using defined standards and be
st practices.
* Analyze the testing result and manage the bug report
Skills/Qualifications:
* Masters Degree Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of all OSI layers and particular expertise with advanced IP
networking concepts (layer 2/3),familiar with HTTP,XML,SOAP,SNMP
* Knowledge of the white-box and black-box testing methodology and quality ass
urance (QA) flow.
* Experience with Unix/Linux configuration and programming
* Familiar with testing script languages such as tcl/tk/perl
* Experience of product QA cycles from functional, regression, stress testing
to the performance measurement and analysis
* Automation experience is a plus
* Knowledge of IEEE 802.11x is a plus
* Knowledge of xDSL,TR069,TR067 is a plus
* Knowledge of VoIP, DOCSIS is a plus
* Self-motivated and can-do attitude
* Fluent in English, good communication skills,highly productive, exhibits goo
d teamwork and collaboration
