IT Power Ltd (www.itpower.co.uk) is a world leading renewable energy and
sustainable development consulting company, set up in 1981 in the UK
and active in China since 1982. Clients include multilateral agencies,
for example UNDP, UNIDO, World Bank, ADB and private sector/NGO
organizations, for example IFC, Shell Foundation, Greenpeace. As part of
regional expansion, IT Power has opened an office in Beijing since 2002
(www.itpowerchina.com) has implemented more about 20 projects in the
areas of Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Climate Change and Clean
Development Mechanism.
职位：Project Assistant
Primary Responsibility
Key Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of Deputy Chief Representative, the
incumbent carries out responsibilities of technical and non-technical
functions relating to the realisation of renewable energy projects in
China, particularly,
Research and translation (65%)
· To assist in the research and development of technical and
non-technical projects relating to renewable energy and energy
efficiency projects in China.
· To be responsible for translation of technical and non-technical
documents from English to Chinese and vice versa, and work as
interpreter in meetings, negotiations and conferences.
· To keep track of day to day business news and events in the areas
IT Power is interested in - renewable energy, energy efficiency and
CDM related issues.
· To be responsible for maintaining and updating China office website.
Administration (35%)
· Proven administrative skills e.g. handling travel arrangements and
meetings
· HR ability including keeping up to date with Chinese HR laws and
regulations and their changes, liaison with companies like FESCO,
managing insurance issues and other personnel related issues
· Interacting and managing the calendar of the management team and
ensuring effective and professional contact management with key business
contacts in China.
· Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.
Desired Qualifications
· Bachelor degree from recognized university preferable in an
engineering (power, mechanical, electrical, thermal, environmental, etc)
or economics or finance.
· Good skills on research and reporting
· Good command of English , both spoken and written
· Proven skills on translation of technical and non-technical documents
from English to Chinese and vice versa
· Self motivated, good team player and can work under pressure in an
international environment
· Should be IT proficiency, with good communication skills and people
skills
· Willingness to travel for project purpose
· Long term commitment to the sustainable implementation of renewable
energy technologies in China.
