s of ‘real’ business cases, working in small teams and on your own. You’ll 

find out what it means to be a controller at Philips, directly involved in ope

rational management. It’s an excellent opportunity to put all your learning f

irmly into practice, get feedback on your skills and rub shoulders with senior

 Philips professionals. Based on your performance, we may offer you a job at t

he end of the course. You’ll need to show us excellent leadership skill and a

nalytical ability, along with strong technical team-working and influencing sk
ills.

Job Responsibilities
-Business planning and performance management
-Financial accounting and reporting
-Business and internal controls
-Strategy related improvement & analysis projects
-financial management
-Participation in cross-functional teams
-Support forecasting process
-Monitor fixed assets and stocks
-Facilitate review meetings

Job Requirements
To make it onto this course, you’ll need to combine an excellent academic rec

ord with entrepreneurial instinct and analytical ability, as well as strong le

adership and interpersonal skills. We’re looking for people who can influence

 business decisions, who demand top performance of themselves and others, and 

who are determined to achieve excellent results. 

You should be a final-year masters graduate, with a broad finance interest. Fl

uent business English is essential, and you must be willing to take on a range

 of challenges in a variety of locations (throughout the start of your career 

you will be exposed to challenges in different locations.)
