China Operations

KBC Bank has branch offices in three Chinese cities: Shanghai, Shenzhen, 
and Nanjing. Our Shanghai branch operation has been established since May 
1997. Then, we opened the Shenzhen and Nanjing branch in 1998 and 2001 
respectively. 

Our first CNY license was approved by the People's Bank of China ('PBOC'). 
We formally launched our CNY business in the beginning of August 2002. We 
seek to be a leader in the provision of foreign bank services in China.

Our client base includes:
"   Chinese banks and financial institutions; 
"   Chinese foreign trading companies;
"   Chinese major State-owned enterprises;
"   Existing KBC network clients; 
"   Foreign Invested Enterprises. 
We serve these clients on a China-wide basis from our branches in China. 
Further expansion of representation is being actively pursued to enhance 
our service in other key economic centres.

Products and Services

KBC Bank offers a range of services to its clients from its three branches, 
including:
1.  Short term facilities, from plain working capital to complex trade 
finance products and borrowing base structures.

2.  Long term facilities, to finance capital expenditure or acquisitions, 
or ensure stability of funding

3.  Treasury products, ranging from traditional FX spot products to 
structure FX and interest product, et. SWAP, IRS, option. 

The KBC Management Trainee Program

In the spring of 2007 KBC is looking for 6-8 smart and talented graduates 
to join its management trainee program.  Graduates who join KBC will become 
full-time management trainees, spending 6 months in Hong Kong or Singapore 
to train with KBC staff.  

Once training is completed, new employees will work in one of KBC's three 
China branches in Shanghai, Nanjing, or Shenzhen, learning the necessary 
skills to become  relationship manager in corporate banking department or 
other departments as well depending on individuals preferences.

 Applicant Requirements

"   Graduation in spring 2007 with a bachelor's degree
"   Graduates from the following schools only:
o   Shanghai Fudan University 复旦大学
o   Shanghai Jiaotong University 交通大学
o   Shanghai University of Finance and Economics 财经大学
o   Nanjing University 南京大学
o   Guangzhou Sun Yat Sen University 中山大学
o   Guangzhou Jinan University 暨南大学
"   Graduates from the following majors:
o   Business 商务
o   Economics　经济
o   Law　法律
"   English CET-6 or above
