Position: Training System Administrator for KPS - English Speaking
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Within SAP, Knowledge Productization Services (KPS) industrializes the knowled
ge production, pushes innovation in knowledge transfer, and productizes experi
ence-based knowledge. The training systems management team sets-up and manages
all training master system landscapes for content development. They provide s
upport and services for content developers during knowledge transfer productio
n. In close cooperation with IT, they develop cloning mechanisms for training
system landscapes, to be able to provide subsidiaries with live systems on dem
and.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- You have a good university degree, preferably in Computer Science.
- You have good IT and programming skills (ABAP, Java required), good knowledg
e about system administration, sound knowledge of data generation tools (CATT,
BC-sets, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of the technical architecture of SAP solutions
- Distinctive analytical skills, but also creativity to be able to create new
tools.
- Excellent ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
- You have 1 year overseas experience
- You appreciate working in an international, dynamic and virtual team.
- You like to provide solutions and work independently with a high service ori
entation for our customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a member of the KPS team, you set up and manage training master system land
scapes for content development. You provide support and services for content d
evelopers during the creation of workshops or eLearning objects. In close coop
eration with IT, you develop cloning mechanisms for training system landscapes
to be able to provide subsidiaries with live systems on demand.
The wide range of responsibilities includes:
- Programming of additional tools and functions for system activities after sy
stem refresh/system improvement
- Interface to IT and other KPS teams for system setup and system operation qu
estions
- Optimization of system utilization via technical solutions
- Responsible for user and password management in training master systems
- Define rules for system access. Administrate users
- Develop and realize concepts for simplification of complex training system l
andscapes
- Provide support during training delivery for own developed tools
