The Business Management Trainee Program represents a PCCW commitment to developing talented young individuals into all-round business professionals, in line with their career aspirations and the Company’s requirements for success.
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM?
The two-year Business Management Trainee Program is designed as an early career path to enable fresh graduates to become all-round business professionals within PCCW Solutions. This intensive and comprehensive program provides the opportunity to learn and develop skills in various business functions to prepare you to take up future business leadership roles and be exposed to a wide spectrum of other training programs. These include personal effectiveness, business acumen and people management to deepen and widen your knowledge of different aspects of future leadership roles within PCCW Solutions.
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
Joining the Business Management Trainee Program, you will go through a customized assimilation program and be attached to different functional areas within PCCW Solutions in the areas of strategic development, operations management, business development, finance, project management, sales and outsourcing development centre. In parallel, you will go through structured training curriculum in specific business, technical and personal development. As a Business Management Trainee, you will be involved in the planning, development and implementation of strategic business projects and will contribute to the success of the business. You will also receive ongoing professional and personal career guidance from our senior executive during the 2-year program.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• A Master ’ s or Bachelor ’ s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related discipline, plus tertiary education in Business Management/Commerce/Economics
• Fluency in verbal and written English, plus a good working knowledge of written Chinese and oral Cantonese and Putonghua
• The drive to lead and achieve with enthusiasm and entrepreneurship
• An assertive and results-oriented mindset
• Strong interpersonal sensitivity and communication skills.
