Company Introduction:
Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment Ltd. (SSME), was established in July 1992 with an investment of more than 13 million US$ as a joint venture.
The company, which is now wholly owned by Siemens Ltd. China (SLC) is specialized in the full line business of sourcing, manufacture, development, and support for Computed Tomography systems, X-ray systems, Ultrasound diagnostic systems as well as other medical equipments. It is honored as “High-Tech Enterprise” by Shanghai municipal government.
SSME is not only an extended manufacturing base of Siemens Medical Solutions to serve domestic and global market, but also, and more importantly, serve as a R&D center for further product developments.
Consistent with Siemens’ global principles, SSME controls the performance of its processes and products entirely according to international and Chinese quality standard in order to deliver more value to our customers. Products of the company are recognized for their superior quality equal to those made in Germany.
Quality Management System (QMS) in SSME is based on international quality system standard ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000, QMS has been certified by TÜV SÜD PS our current notified body. In addition, as regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturer, our QMS is also complying with 21 CFR Part 820 (Quality System Regulation in USA), 93/42/EEC (EU Medical Device Directive), CMDR (Canadian Medical Device Regulation) and JGMP (Japanese Good Manufacturing Practice).
Responsibilities:
1. Develop CT physics concept for new-development project including feasibility study, simulation modeling, and final validation;
2. Interacting with all other research groups to ensure the consistency of all CT physics
aspects of new-development product;
3. Clinical partnerships and image quality optimization during market entrance phase;
4. Prototyping of application algorithm in coordination with application development;
5. Development and optimization of algorithms related to the image pre-processing and
post-processing;
6. Standards & regulations aspects; Apply and verify adherence to dose and image
quality related regulations (IEC, CFR, …);
7. Publications & international conferences;
8. Collaboration with universities or hospitals for development issues.
Requirements:
1. Ph.D. degree or equivalent level, majored in biomedical engineering or related disciplines, such as medical physics;
2. At least 2-3 years laboratory-based experience;
3. Strong mathematical and physical knowledge;
4. Theoretical and practical experience of radiology device;
5. Experience in biomedical signal processing & simulation modeling preferred;
6. Good Matlab programming;
7. Good Command of verbal and oral English.
Position: Software Engineer—SSME AXPL
Responsibilities:
1. Work in a global R & D team with both German and local engineers to develop XCU SW for global market;
2. Be responsible for design, implementation, documentation, integration and trouble shooting of the SW with high quality;
3. Initiate the software and documents review according to Siemens medical R & D process.
Requirements:
1. Master degree preferred, major in auto control, electrical engineering, computer science;
2. Work experience on C/C++ programming and knowledge of UML preferred;
3. Strong knowledge with RTOS (Real Time Operation System), knowledge of QNX preferred;
4. Software analysis and design methodology skills, knowledge of case tools such as Rose/Rhapsody preferred;
5. Working knowledge with electrical hardware;
6. Good command of verbal and oral English.
Position: System Engineer—SSME AXPL
Responsibilities:
1. Requirements analysis and development of the system functional specification;
2. Establish traceability between system functional specifications and its market requirements;
3. Develop management plans for project specific requirements, and prepare the requirements management environment (e.g. MedTrace, Reqpro, CaliberRM);
4. Take responsible to create a traceability report at defined review to ensure that requirements tracing is complete;
5. Plan and coordinate “safety certificates”, support acceptance tests, e.g. TUV, UL, CSA and entry licenses;
6. Plan and coordinate system integration, evaluate test results and provide suggestions for decision making;
7. Lead the Change Control Board and coordinate change requests and defect reports;
8. Create design transfer documentation and database entries (e.g. SAP);
9. Execute the risk management.
Requirements:
1. Master degree or above, major in biomedical or electrical discipline;
2. Work experience in X-ray device development and project experience in X-ray system preferred;
3. Good communication skills and team work;
4. Good command of verbal and oral English.
