Ericsson China R&D Institute

Ericsson China R&D Institute is responsible for product development covering all standards in radio network, core network and service network, the overall technology management, 3G technical trials, standardization and regulation, research activities, and patent licensing in Ericsson China.

Radio Network R&D Center (XR)

An Ericsson design organization focused on developing of equipment within the radio network area of wireless systems. The main activity is Radio Base Station development. The organization handles today projects within the standards of WCDMA and GSM.

The technology in the R&D Center covers both software and hardware. The software is mainly developed in C++ and Java, but also other IP related software technologies are within the scope. The latest DSP technology combined with other microprocessor systems are the target platforms for the software. The hardware development is performed within analogue electronics up to 2.5 GHz and high-speed digital electronics as well as power supply and mechanics. · The main responsibility as Radio NW Consultant is to complete services solution to meet customers business needs. It includes all Radio NW aspects from beginning to end, Radio NW Planning to Optimization in business models. Radio NW Consultants are also responsible for providing Business development and Sales Support within area of expertise.
Work tasks:
· Designing radio network for GSM, WCDMa, or TDSCDMA.
· Consultancy on radio network optimization and performance improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Solution Architect (Beijing)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the responsible of technical solution sales support in the areas defined by CBC/I business plan.
To provide technical solution sales support (include but not limited to: technical proposal, solution presentation, sales arguments, solution dimensioning etc.) to local account, assisting sales to be successful in their endeavours;
To promote solution Life Cycle Management service to customer (including new and existing customer);
To secure the crucial Multimedia Solution contract from technical perspective;

Doctor degree in telecommunications or related;
A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of telecommunications or related areas; No work experience, with doctor degree is also accepted.
Experience in product/solution/network design in telecom industry;
Good inter-personal skills and able to communicate effectively;
Competent in planning and organising;
Able to be a team member and add values, Self-motivated and customer oriented;
Good in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
