Job Description:
Product development

- Translate the relevant (end-user, commercial, system or sub-system) requirements in realistic and innovative technical concept(s)

- Verify off-tool samples and release components by following SAF process

Reliability Engineer
Job Description:
- Building up and maintaining a complete set of Failure Analysis and Reliability tests, using both internally as well as externally available equipment sites
- Responsible for the reliability requirements managements and realization during Product Creation Process projects
- Responsible for LED Lighting products (modules, components) testing and (embedded) software reviews: Designs test schemes for reliability and lifetime testing of electronics, software, optical and mechanical functionality of LED Lighting products. Collaboration with various competence centers within Philips will be needed and part of the job’s responsibility
- Manages the design specifications, codes and tests for the designed modules or components, so that the electronics hardware and embedded software in question will be reliable, efficient, easy to maintain, and user-friendly
- Giving feedback to the external supply base, ensuring that any quality and reliability issues are communicated without delay and with proper procedures
- Adhere to and in cases defining standards on LED Lighting reliability, collaborating with the global network on standardization for SSL. Ensures that there is proper documentation of specifications and tests and guards adherence to the release procedure as far as reliability and lifetime aspects are concerned
- Maintain a network of Philips Lighting competence center contact persons in the field of LED Lighting, i.e. the Optical Calibration and Measurement groups in Europe and the USA

Job Description:

- Optical Engineering for LED Lighting Solutions. This involves designing optical solutions for new products, designing optical tests to verify designs, making adequate reports. Focus on building up knowledge and (software) tools for geometrical optical modeling and LED binning algorithms

Job Description:
- Extract meaningful information from sensor signals and to intelligently act on this information to provide a reliable support system to the patients. The initial focus is on signal processing to support activity monitoring but later interpretation of biosignals will be included

Job Description:

- Work on advanced image reconstruction solutions using numerical field calculation, finite element methods (FEM) and inverse problem solving
