Banking Associate Programme
A Fast Track for Future Bankers of Standard Chartered China

Our Banking Associate (BA) Programme (formerly called the China Emerging Leader Programme) is specially designed for ambitious graduates who have the desire to excel in whatever they do. We provide both classroom and on-the-job training for 12-18 months. The programme aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge that will take you to the next level. It will give you a strong foundation by concentrating on developing managerial skills such as communication, networking and self-management. In addition, it will provide you with an understanding of our core products and in-depth knowledge of our business.

Programme Highlights
Provides a talent pipeline to Standard Chartered China through an intensive development programme (12 to 18 months).
Provides opportunities for exposure and job rotations (3~4) within China.
Fast tracks participants as China leaders to manage our rapid growth.
Our BA programme is specially designed for fresh graduate (bachelor & master).
When exiting the programme
When you finish the BA programme, you will move into a Fast Tracker job such as Relationship Manager, Product Manager, Senior Credit Analyst or Unit or Function Manager, provided you have a good performance record.
A continuous career coaching and development plan will be agreed with you when you exit the programme.
Areas we are recruiting into
Business units include Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking, Group Technology & Operations and/or Support Functions (HR, Finance and Legal & Compliance).
