Job Description - NDA QA Trainee
REPORTS TO: QA Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualified individual will be part of a team developing financial products which applied by internal and external Reuters clients worldwide. Successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to, test case/scripts development and execution, documentation. Comprehensive training and considerable development opportunities will be provided.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS - REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
"       Qualification:
o       A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering with less than 1-year working experience
o       A Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering with less than 1 year working experience
"       Requirement:
o       Basic understanding of test methodologies and techniques (e.g. Test coverage analysis).
o       Basic understanding about Software Development Life cycle and testing process
o       (Preferred) Proven experience in test cases development and execution.
o       (Preferred) Basic financial knowledge covering Stock and/or Bond
o       (Preferred) Basic understanding of automation concepts. Experience in using testing automation (like QTP, Winrunner, LoadRunner and other test automation tools) tools would be an added advantage.
"       Technical Requirement:
o       Windows, Unix or Linux skills
o       Programming languages skills, i.e., C, Java, VB/VB script, Shell/Perl
o       Database skills, i.e., Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL (preferred)
o       Basic understanding of Web Service, i.e., Tomcat, IIS, XML, HTML
"       Others Requirement:
o       Team player, Pro-active, Fast learner
o       Good English verbal and written communication skills
o       Excellent analytical and Problem solving skills.
