2004年10月，SMS整合北京代表处和成立于2002年9月的西马克德马格自动化有限公司的基础上成立了新的“西马克德马格技术（北京）有限公司（SDT）。

西马克德马格技术（北京）有限公司上海分公司：随着上海分公司的成立，我们更加贴近上海和华东及华南的客户。

西马克德马格国际贸易（北京）有限公司（STC）：该公司成立于2006年中，主要业务为在中国采购机电设备并从事各种进出口业务和质量监督以及现场服务等。
西马克德马格冶金设备（上海）有限公司（SDME）：我们于2006年2月在距离上海约60公里处的奉贤成立的维修服务车间，为我们的客户提供广泛的服务项目（例如： 芯轴、AGC液压缸，传动轴，CVC系统等）。

我们的业务范围和主要功能：

我们的业务范围包括与SMS集团相关的各类业务活动并作为SMS集团和其成员公司在华的代表；单体设备和成套设备，包括SMS集团公司和其成员公司的备件采购及进出口；冶金机械部件、设备和工厂、计算机软硬件和工业自动化系统的研发、生产、安装和调试；系统集成、技术咨询、服务、维修保养和培训等。

Hardware Engineer

Position for new graduate (Master)

Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Division: Electric and Automation Division

Job Description

1. Work for metallurgic automation system such as steel making, continuous casting, hot rolling mill, cold rolling mill and processing line.
2. Metallurgic automation system design and hardware engineering.
3. System configuration including TCS configuration, PLC configuration, HMI configuration, instrument selection, cable selection and engineering, hardware component selection.
4. System disposition plan and layout.
5. System diagram including single line diagram, signal list, terminal list, terminal diagram, cable list.
6. On Site erection and commissioning supervision.
7. Instructing or answering questions during manufacture phase.

Requirements:
1. Good English
2. The knowledge of automation control system.
3. The knowledge of metallurgical process.
4. Familiar with E-plan and AutoCAD
5. Familiar with PLC, drive system knowledge, like configuration, communication and so on.
6. Good computer skills
7. Team spirit and communication skills
8. Experience in design institute preferred
9. Willing and able to travel both inside and outside China frequently.

Application Engineer (Software Level 1)

Job Title: Application Engineer (Software Level 1)

Job Description

1. Working for automation system for metallurgic plant
2. Programming software modules
3. Testing control cabinets
4. Collaboration at the module test and integration test
5. Commissioning Level 1 software and single functions
6. Assistance of commissioning
7. Collaboration for preparation of specification and documentation
8. Assembling and start-up of automation system and IT systems

Requirement

1. Fluent in English
2. Master Degree or above
3. Willing and able to travel both inside and outside China frequently
4. Team spirit and communication skills
5. Familiar with PLC knowledge, like configuration, communication and so on
6. Familiar with software developing for basic automation
7. Experience of commissioning for self-developing application software is preferable.
8. Background of working with Metallurgical Rolling Mill experience is preferable.
9. Good Computer/IT knowledge
