Welcome to the Human Resources (HR) division at Deutsche Bank. We have many exciting opportunities for graduates wishing to embark on a career in HR.
Who we are looking for?
HR is a key function at Deutsche Bank, focused on our most valuable asset: our people. In order to provide excellent support for our staff we seek proficient and varied talents for our HR division. As well as those who have studied HR
, we are keen to receive applications from students studying other disciplines
. You will need to demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in HR within investment banking
- Enthusiasm for the wide range of roles within HR
- A client focused approach
- Business awareness and intellectual curiosity
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Drive, commitment and an ability to work in a team
- A proactive approach to problem solving and sound judgement
- Attention to detail and numerical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to think creatively
- An inquisitive approach to work
- Master degree is preferable
You should be in your final year of study and be on track to obtain a good degree. We accept applications from any discipline and business work experience is looked upon favourably. Strong communication skills are needed.
Induction program
New HR Analysts from offices globally come together for an intensive four-week classroom training program which comprises two modules:
- Global Financial Markets & Products - A Customer Focus: A detailed study of the types of roles performed by the clients you will be supporting within Deutsche Bank
- Essential HR Practices: You will be taught the basic principles of HR management; an understanding of our policies and procedures; and an overview of best practice across various industries
We combine tutor-led input and presentation with discussion, group exercises and case studies. Deutsche Bank global representatives will deliver many of the sessions and provide examples of our current HR practices. This tailored program is designed to ensure you:
- Understand the business you support
- Understand the fundamentals of HR
- Build your network of contacts
