IDS is one member of the Li & Fung Group, providing customers a menu of Integrated-Distribution Services in three core businesses across Asia:
Logistics, Marketing and Manufacturing. Now we are recruiting graduates from famous universities to add new talents to our Management Trainee Program in China.

1. Introduction of the Management Trainee Program

The purpose of the Management Trainee Program is to build a pool of supervisory or management resource for the company within 2 years of the traineeship.

?   The traineeship is a 24-month accelerated program.
?   Trainees will be assigned to a business service throughout the duration, but in the course of the traineeship, will cross into other operations as part of the learning process.
?   Trainees will be exposed to a variety of learning experiences ranging from classroom training, on-the-job supervision, hands-on experience, project work, to the carrying-out of day-to day operational tasks.
?   At all times, the trainee will be under the care of a Supervisor (for work-related tasks), as well as a Mentor (for matters relating to the trainee’s overall well-being).

2. Selection Process

The selection process consists of 4 stages:
Stage 1:    First-round interview by HR
Stage 2:    Short-listed candidates will be required to complete an on-line behavioral assessment
Stage 3:    Short-listed candidates will be invited to a final panel interview
Stage 4:    Final candidates will receive the offer from IDS

3. Selection Criteria

All candidates with the required characteristics and academic qualifications described below will satisfy the criteria of the Management Trainee Program.

Required Characteristics
?   Desires to develop career in Logistics or Distribution industry
?   Able to deal with ambiguity and change
?   Professional in executing tasks & assignments
?   Able to work independently as well as in a team
?   Possesses personal humility and willing to learn
?   Communicative and has strong business acumen

Academic Qualifications
?   Graduate with a bachelor or master degree
?   Preferably majors in any one of the following subject areas - Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operational Research, Engineering,
International Trade and Marketing
?   GPA: above 3.0
?   Proficiency in English
?   Excellent analytic skill
