Jotun's operations in China are growing rapidly. We are established with two production facilities, respectively in Guangzhou and Zhangjiagang, and with head office in Shanghai. A major part of Jotun's global Marine and Protective business is linked to the Chinese operation.

As part of the overall strategic plan for Jotun Marine and Protective Coatings, we wish to strengthen the marketing department in the global Marine and Protective business with two mature, dynamic and result oriented Trainees - Sales/Marketing.

Trainee positions 2008

In our international trainee programme we are looking for highly motivated talents, who have the potential to become future leaders in Jotun.

As an International trainee in Jotun, you will get an employment and a designated job in the company you are recruited in to. During the 18 months' Trainee programme, you will have two expatriate periods abroad. After the programme, you are still employed in your home company.

Trainee start-up is August 2008. Deadline for applications: 1st March 2008.

2 International Trainees - Sales/Marketing - China

Job description
To follow up, align and support the global segment activities to make sure Jotun is acting in a proactive, consistent and comprehensive manner to be specified and competitive for major customers/contracts/projects in the region.
Contribute in analysing market trends for key product lines, to highlight potential market threats and opportunities.
Responsibilities and tasks during the programme will be designed in accordance with company needs and the job holder's competence and interests

Qualifications
Master's degree within relevant fields of education
No more that three years work experience

Personal qualities
Initiative and independence
Ability to build networks
Exceptional communication and analytical skills
Leadership potential.

English
