Air Products and Chemicals, Inc (APCI) entered the China market in the early 1980's through the sale of large scale industrial gas manufacturing plants to industrial gas customers. In 1987, APCI established a joint venture in Shekou, Shenzhen named Chun Wang Industrial Gases (Shenzhen) Ltd. (CWIG) and initially invested in China the same year with its' first on-site facility to supply nitrogen and hydrogen to Guangdong Float Glass as well as providing high quality liquid and gaseous products for customers in Guangdong, Fujian, Hong Kong and Macau.
In 1995, Air Products opened its Shanghai Office and then in 1997, Air Products set up its China holding company, Air Products & Chemicals (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (APCCIL) in Shanghai. APCI has continued to expand its business in China since 1987 to become one of the largest industrial gas companies in China. Currently, APCI has approximately 1,700 employees working in over 23 wholly owned enterprises, JVs and offices in many of the main cities in Mainland China such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Tangshan, Zibo, Nanjing, Yantai, Wuxi, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Fuzhou.
GEO EDP (Engineering Development Program)

Job Responsibilities
The EDP (Engineering Development Program) is the training and development program for young graduates by attempting the methods for growing future engineers, managers and leaders. It will provide the opportunity to the talents to learn the company's business, products, technologies and operating methods in their early careers.
The EDP engineer will fulfill 3 x 8 month assignments in different groups of GEO(Global Engi-
neering Organization) of the company in Shanghai.
For each assignment, the specific learning, project-related objectives and job description will
be set up.
Every EDP engineer is assigned a senior manager to guide and advise them as they progress
through the program.
The EDP engineer is encouraged to seek advice, coaching and support from their colleagues.
At the end of the 24 months' EDP period, each EDP will seek a full time assignment in GEO
Shanghai.
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering is required.
About 1 year intern experience in engineering program/project is preferred.
Excellent English skills both in written and oral; skillful in PC.
Open, proactive and willing to learn.
Asia Technology CDP (Career Development Program)
Location

Job Responsibilities
Conduct applications development, technical service, products development, market research, engineering and others as defined by the business/function.
Three 12-month assignment rotations within three different businesses/functions. The first assignment will be with Performance Materials Application Development and Technical Service.
Qualifications
Strong academic training. PhD or Master degree graduate.
Majored in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences
Good English language skill

HR CDP (Career Development Program)

Job Responsibilities
To provide HR supports in different HR functions including Staffing, Compensation & Benefit, Training & Organization Development, etc. so as to fit the appropriate role in HR department in two years.
Qualifications

graduates) who are interested in opportunities in financial and commercial areas. Our goal is to produce the future leaders of the company by giving you the opportunity to enhance your profes-

A Rotational Program with Flexibility:
This self-directed program consists of three assignments lasting approximately 8 months in length in both commercial and financial roles. Your initial assignment is determined by Air Pro-
ducts considering your career interests as a new Graduate and the needs of the organization. You select subsequent assignments.
Real Work Experiences:
As a Finance CDP, you will have real work experiences with high visibility. You will be given a broad perspective of our businesses and products and will be encouraged to take the lead in planning and developing your career. A senior manager or executive will be your mentor to assist you in guiding your career.
Qualifications
Air Products looks for candidates with outstanding academic records.
Many other factors including undergraduate degree.
Recent graduates with concentrations in Finance or Commercial areas will be considered.
Full-time, indefinite work authorization is necessary.
