Position Title:QA Tester(Online) 测试工程师
Responsibility:
- Execute the manual and automated testing of Teradata Demand Chain Management applications within a team environment.
- Mentor and support internal and external testing team members effectively and efficiently.
- Encourage productivity within the team.
- Analyze User Requirements to insure accuracy in design and build new test cases to meet the user and design requirements.??
- Participate in peer reviews.
- Review incidents reported by client sites for causal analysis.?
- Insure accuracy of the test cases executed against Teradata Demand Chain Management applications.
- Organize effectively testing tasks/activities and follow the test process.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- Master degree in computer science related majors. Exposure / experience in automation test tools for integrated testing. Experience with writing test scripts, test cases and the test execution of complex Software applications.?

Position Title:Senior Parallel Database Extensions Test Developer 高级并行数据库测试程序开发工程师
Summary Description:
- Mainly responsible for testing and supporting database features.
- Candidate will be able to read a feature High level and Detail level test plans and execute from those comprehensive specifications. The ideal candidate will also be able to write feature test cases and automation scripts in addition to test execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Responsibility:
- Responsible for testing and support of enterprise database software. Support must be provided across Windows and Linux.
- Both 32bit and 64bit operating systems.
- Aptitude for understanding complex software from the functional and technical perspective.
- The candidate is expected to communicate the impact of problems/solutions to his/her manager, write test cases, execute test plans and perform general System Integration testing.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Solid experience and in-depth understanding of test frameworks.
- Familiarity with Linux, Unix, and Windows system administration is required.
- Scripting and automation experiences are essential, must be very familiar with shell scripting, Perl, and tcl.
- Prior experiences with system-level programming are desired.
- Prior experiences with debugger tools (GDB, valgrind, etc) are desired.
- Teradata or other database administration experiences are desired.
- Hardware administration experiences are desired.

Position Title:Application Consultant 应用开发工程师
Role Description
The Application Consultant brings specific technical knowledge about the application and applies it to the implementation for a specific customer. The Application Consultants will participate in the design, development, and implementation of an application. The application may be an existing Teradata application such as Teradata Relationship Manager, a Teradata custom developed application such as a web dashboard, or an ISV application. The Application Consultant role provides leadership in utilizing a defined application methodology to integrate the application into the customer environment. The Application Consultants also provide application proof of concepts and benchmarking services to prove the viability of new technology solutions to our clients. The Application Consultant may be the Lead Consultant on a project.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Install, configure, and integrate applications.
- Be able to demonstrate to the customer a high degree of expertise in the application.
- Mentor and interact with other team members and the client for the dissemination of information about the application.
- Support the data warehouse design and integration efforts, including data sourcing, transformation, loading, logical/physical modeling, business intelligence, application development, and testing/production rollout.
- Participate in verification of the application.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in computer science related majors.
- In depth knowledge of the architecture of the application.
- In depth knowledge of the integration of the application.
- In depth knowledge of the application implementation methodology.

Position Title:ETL Consultant ETL 开发工程师
Role Description
The ETL Consultant specializes in the design and development of the ETL environment, processes, programs, and scripts to acquire data from source systems and apply the data to the tables in the database. This individual must have the skills necessary to understand the overall data warehouse architecture. The ETL Consultant designs and builds the ETL environment with the specific toolset required by the client. The ETL Consultant may also provide input to the database designer to optimize the data loading of the physical database. The ETL Consultant may be the Lead Consultant on a project.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Capture ETL Requirements.
- Design, develop, and test processes for extracting data from legacy systems or production databases.
- Design, develop, and test processes for validating and conditioning data prior to loading into a data warehouse.
- Design, develop, and test processes for loading initial and cyclical data into a data warehouse.
- Design the processes to meet service level agreements for data timeliness and frequency.
- Determine which data elements are historic and the retention period for historic data.
- Determine data growth trends and peak business periods.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in computer science related majors.
- In depth knowledge of the Teradata Database.
- In depth knowledge of ETL tools.
