M.I.S.E. Program:

The MISE program leads talented young people into global commerce.

Maersk International Shipping Education (MISE) is a 2-year global training programme through which we develop the future leaders of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group.

The MISE experience combines practical and theoretical education with broad international exposure and vast career opportunities.

There are two types of MISE trainees we employ:

General MISE - educated as generalists and prepared for a variety of career paths within the different areas of our business
Finance MISE - the best way to start a challenging, international finance career

Program Highlights
During the program, the trainee will undergo:
MISE training modules in Denmark
Job rotations in different locations and business units of China
Vessel tour – true life experience as a seafarer on one of Maersk Line’s vessels
International network with fellow trainees from over 80 countries and areas

Upon graduation, there will be opportunities for an overseas assignment up to 24 months to one of our 325 offices in around 130 countries and areas worldwide

Through our Campus Recruitment in the second half of 2007, the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group is seeking 2008 university graduates to be part of the MISE program.

MISE is not for everybody. To succeed in MISE, you must be talented, hard-working and possess a determination to succeed.

The right candidates are driven by a desire to make a difference and are offered a world of opportunities.

No matter which university you will graduate from, you are welcome to apply online for the MISE program if you meet the following basic requirements:

Bachelor degree upon graduation in 2008
For Finance MISE trainees, major in Finance, Economics or a Management-related discipline; for General MISE’s, there is no preference for the major or discipline
Sufficient English proficiency. Writing, listening and verbal skills are all considered equally important
High mobility and adaptability to changes, willingness to be relocated, and open-mindedness
