Software Quality Engineer (China)
Location: Hangzhou, China
Role and Responsibility:
• Contribute, as part of a team, towards organizational goal of providing high quality products
• Test, through all stages of the software lifecycle, MicroStrategy products that are used by both end users and IT administrators
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases using knowledge of feature specifications.
• Work with engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarter to analyze test results and debug problems
Qualifications:
• Education: Master or PhD degree in Engineering field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Science major. Excellent school record. Bachelor degree with exceptional academic background (GPA 3.5+ out of 4.0) and IT experience will also be considered.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills
• Ability to pay close attention to details as well as to see bigger picture of tasks
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrable knowledge in one or more IT areas: Software testing, Databases system and SQL, programming language, System administration (Unix or Windows)
Software Tester (China)
Location: Hangzhou, China
Role and Responsibility:
Contribute, as part of a team, towards organizational goal of providing high quality products by:
• Executing daily and weekly build acceptance tests on all product components.
• Certifying the existing product feature against new configurations set by running test suites
• Ensuring that all components are stable by executing regression test suites
• Verifying integrity of builds by running final round of tests before version release
• Finding and reporting software defects found during testing
• Working in collaboration with engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarters
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or other Science major. Excellent school record. Bachelor’s degree in other majors with IT experience will also be considered.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills
• Ability to pay close attention to details as well as to see bigger picture of tasks Strong analytical skills
