RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•You will be part of a small, tightly knit and agile team of verifiers who test the WebLogic Communication Platform – a product family for telecom operators.
Major responsibilities:
•Review of system requirements specifications.
•Test plan and test cases design.
•Test execution. The development environment is based on Java.
Additional responsibilities:
•Status reports to management.
•Analyzing risk trade-offs.
Qualifications/Necessary Skills:
•Motivated to excel in a verifier role.
•Able to independently develop testing strategies and techniques.
•Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting product problems met during test execution.
•Solid UNIX environment experience.(Oracle DB is a plus)
•Experience with test automation or test automation development (JUnit / Cruise Control and/or the ability to write maintainable test code is a plus)
•Working knowledge in J2EE Web applications.(BEA WebLogic is a plus)
•Experience with testing SIP
•Knowledge of existing SIP server solutions; Knowledge of VoIP related standards, specifically the SIP protocol (RFC 2543, 3261, 3262, 3265, 3428). (Knowledge of the SIPServlet API (JSR116) is a plus)
•Experience with MMSC and SMSC integration (SAMS messaging API, JSR 212).
•Experience with JAIN/SLEE, JAIN/SIP.
•Working knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL and Perl.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Have good time management skills.
•Demonstrated ability to be effective in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
•An effective team player.
Educational Requirements:
•BS or MS in Computer Science or related field of education.
