BU Description
IBM China Research Laboratory is promoting service-based research and launched the Next Generation Service department. The Service Asset Technology group in this department focuses on the technologies in harvesting service assets and providing governance and protection assurance in asset reuse lifecycle.

Job Description
Service component governance technologies

Eligible candidates are expected to have the following skills (in the descending order of importance)
- Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE/Portal
- Experience in SOA, J2EE architecture - and familiarity with MVC design
pattern
- Has knowledge of security engineering and theory, e.g. SOA security,
Java security, trusted computing, PKI and cryptography
- Familiar with IBM middlewares and products, such as WAS, WID and DB2.
Tivoli security portfolio (TIM, TAM) is a nice plus
- Proactive thinking and good communication
- Good English reading & writing skills
- Working experience with IBM (Websphere tools, Rational tools, etc.)
is a plus
- Familiar with emerging Web technologies, such as Web 2.0, is a plus.
- At least 3 days available each week, full time is better
- Major in CS or EE
