Group Overview
MSR Asia is committed to ensuring Microsoft customers’ benefit from innovations developed by researchers at the lab. To this end a dedicated team of software engineers was brought together under the Technology Transfer Group. This group, unique within MSR Asia, is focused on facilitating the transfer of innovations to Microsoft’s products. The group also develops software tools to help improve research productivity and builds prototypes and demos for the lab’s research groups, breathing life into new technology breakthroughs. Over the years, the Technology Transfer Group, working together with Microsoft’s various product groups, has assisted in the transfer of over one hundred technologies from MSR Asia. Today, the group helps turn the lab’s ideas into reality and develops and promotes software engineering excellence across MSR Asia.

Roles & Responsibilities
As an Intern Web Developer, you will work closely with TTG team members on many innovative projects.

Required Qualifications
We are looking for:
1. Expertise with ASP.NET, Ruby, PHP, Mason, or another web programming language;
2. Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational database;
3. Ability to program and manage an entire dynamic website (both backend and frontend);
4. Familiarity with Microsoft web technologies (ASP.NET, SQL Server, IIS, etc.) is a big plus.
5. Can work fulltime for at least 6 months.

MSRAIT Team is a group of individuals working together or as a Team adding value and services to MSR Asia

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop a Screen Compare Application and integrate into an application similar to PPT Presenter.

Required Qualifications
We are looking for:
1.    BS/MS in Computer Science or any related technical field;
2.    Experience in COM and DirectShow required;
3.    C++/ software development;
4.    Good coding skills, ideally with Visual Studio 2005 as the project will be VS.Net based.
