Group Overview: Microsoft Research Asia Incubation Group is recruiting visiting student.
The mission of incubation at MSRA is to create real world solutions to the hardest business problems Microsoft and our customers face today. We will achieve this goal through a process of Search and Redevelopment. Compared to traditional R&D which is forward looking, search and redevelopment identifies immediate customer needs and applies readily available technologies. Our end goal is not patent awards or published papers on theoretical technologies — we are accountable for producing deployable solutions for the most difficult problems no other group can or is willing to solve.
Required Qualifications: We are looking for:
1. Solid math knowledge background
2. C/C++ (include template and some STL knowledge)
3. Digital signal processing knowledge (Matrix arithmetic, FFT, Gaussian kernel, etc)
4. Image processing knowledge
